26TH JANUARY: JUST ABOUT THE MORNING?

PATRIOT IN THE MORNING.

  • Get up in the morning.
  • Watch the parade (optional)
  • Spend the rest of the day like another Sunday.
But anyone dares to nudge that morning patriot, he is the long lost oppressive Britisher to you. And there's INQUILAB.
And that's on full display with all the TIRANGAS fluttering on the bikes, auto-rickshaws,cars, cycles ,etc.

With all this making a point, we need to ask this first to ourselves and then to fellow countrymen- " are we trying to make the country better than what it was yesterday?"
The point being, it's not another Sunday. There are many 26 Januarys due. But it's you who can make the next one better. All the Patriots in the house have this opportunity. A true patriot once was a simple man, a common man. He grew to be a nationalist, he grew to be angry and he grew to change the country.

Indulge in any activity that you think empowers some section of society. Collect help and be a part of their good day. Teach in a few deprived schools, organise broom cleaning on a road, get out in the evening to collect TIRANGAS littering the road. Try to make someone happy on that day. And let them bless not you, but INDIA.

We do need a revolution. Not the sort of crap politics demands. It must be the revolution of HUMANITY. A great nation is built when the people are happy, a nation where the poor is not wealthy, but equal to the rich in all participation and opportunity.

This republic day, make a day for yourself to be proud of. Let there be a true celebration of the republic. Mark the day as a day for the country.

"At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom. A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to new, when an age ends, and when the soul of a nation, long suppressed, finds utterance.
It is fitting that at this solemn moment we take the pledge of dedication to the service of India and her people and to the still larger cause of humanity with some pride." - JAWAHARLAL NEHRU
And again India will awake to true life and true freedom.

JAI HIND!
